Web/Database Developer - Remote
Description
We are looking for a skilled and innovative Web/Database Developer to join our IT Support Services team. As a Web/Database Developer, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining our websites, ensuring they effectively communicate the OAG's mission and engage the public.
Key Responsibilities Website Design and Development: Plan, design, evaluate, develop, test, edit, maintain, and document the look and functionality of OAG websites to ensure an excellent user experience.
Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their website goals and provide expert guidance on design and functionality.
Graphic and Multimedia Design: Create or oversee the creation of digital assets such as images, banners, charts, and multimedia elements to enhance website visuals and engagement.
Programming and Coding: Utilize your expertise in programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to implement website functionalities and enhancements.
Content Management: Write, edit, and format website content that effectively communicates the OAG's message and initiatives.
Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to clients and train staff on website operation and updates.
Marketing and Outreach: Implement strategies to promote the OAG's online presence and attract visitors to the website.
Maintenance and Updates: Regularly update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and usability.
Documentation: Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation on website development, coding, updates, and operational procedures.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development and design.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with graphic design software and multimedia editing tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
Detail-oriented with a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
Experience with .NET Core, Angular, Apache, IIS, Postman, SOAPUI, Specflow, Swagger, Visual Studio, XML, and other relevant software.
