Web Developer (Hybrid) - Remote | WFH
Description
As a Web Developer, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining cutting-edge websites and web-based applications. We're looking for someone with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities, who can effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our web presence and online collaboration tools, working closely with the Marketing Director. You'll need to assess current systems, evaluate new technologies, and enhance our platforms to meet evolving needs. This involves close collaboration with staff and various committees to plan and execute future developments.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Marketing Director and team to support and implement the marketing vision and strategies for all digital communications.
Design and develop event microsites and additional web projects as needed.
Manage and maintain the website, including updating content in alignment with events and initiatives.
Ensure brand consistency across all web and email platforms.
Address and troubleshoot any website issues that arise.
Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing emails.
Participate in project development for internet publishing initiatives.
Recommend enhancements and improvements to optimize website performance.
Analyze web metrics to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for web development.
Customize mobile app templates for events and manage event-specific mobile applications.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience can substitute for a degree.
At least three years of progressive experience as a Web Developer.
Proficiency with WordPress CMS.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and C#.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and SEO best practices.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel occasionally and work extended hours or weekends during conferences.
Desired Skills Experience with CMS, AMS, and other web tools.
Understanding of Responsive Design, Bootstrap, WordPress, SQL, and other web development technologies.
Ability to implement and support rich media, engagement tools, and mobile apps.
