Entry Level Web Developer
Description
The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing Atlassian?s Jira application, Microsoft?s Visual Studio, Microsoft?s VS Code, Microsoft?s SQL Management Studio, Microsoft?s Azure Cloud Studio, and Atlassian?s Bitbucket.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and document portions of application programs for computers and associated equipment used in scientific systems or commercial projects.
- Provide web support and development of internal and external web pages.
- Enhance existing web pages with additional capabilities and functions.
- Update entries on web pages as needed.
- Inform and update contributors on web page submission standards and requirements.
- Provide ongoing page maintenance, including the removal of stale pages and detection and elimination of faulty URL links.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed programs and web pages to ensure easy understanding and maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure the optimal functioning of all developed systems and web pages.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to web pages and application programs promptly.
- Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met effectively.
- Communicate effectively with contributors and stakeholders regarding web page standards, updates, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- CompTIA Sec+ or CISSP certification upon employment.
- Associates degree in a relevant discipline or at least two years of experience in a government or military setting.
- Proficient in maintaining and developing applications in C#, T-SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and SharePoint.
- Experience with SharePoint development using the SharePoint Object Model (2007 or 2010) and .NET development for SharePoint Web Parts.
- Proficient in ADO.NET SQL Server development.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
- Proficient in using Atlassian?s Jira for bug tracking, issue tracking, and agile project management.
- Skilled in utilizing Microsoft?s Visual Studio, VS Code, SQL Management Studio, and Azure Cloud Studio.
- Experience with Atlassian?s Bitbucket for source code management.
- Proficiency in at least one development language such as Java, C#, Microsoft?s Open-Source Development Language, or Visual Basic.
