About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with a strong background in the Symfony and Laravel frameworks to join a dynamic IT team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to high-impact projects that enhance and upgrade our Moodle platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PHP applications using the Symfony and Laravel frameworks.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and streamline development processes.
- Engage in architectural design and SQL database management.
- Improve and upgrade our Moodle platform, including the implementation of multi-tenancy features.
- Redesign and enhance the user interface to improve user experience.
- Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with PHP programming, specifically in Symfony and Laravel frameworks.
- Proficiency in Docker and architectural design principles.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database management.
- Familiarity with Moodle is highly desirable.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary IT teams, including DevOps and Kubernetes infrastructure teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
