Description We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our organization in Circle Pines, Minnesota. The role is integral to our operations in the engineering and omnichannel distribution of aftermarket replacement parts. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will utilize your technical skills to develop and maintain our digital capabilities, ensuring our services run efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities - Develop and maintain applications using Laravel PHP and related frameworks
- Utilize services such as Forge and Vapor to enhance application performance
- Create and manage systems within the Amazon Web Services Environment
- Employ advanced knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON for front-end development
- Work with JavaScript frameworks and toolkits, such as VueJS, ReactJS
- Develop using the PHPStorm IDE for a streamlined coding process
- Engage in database development, working with databases such as MySQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
- Maintain source control/version control using GitHub
- Uphold development best practices to ensure quality and efficiency
- Participate in code review processes and quality reviews
- Develop API for external consumption to expand our digital reach.
Requirements - Possession of a minimum of 7 years' experience in PHP development.
- Proficient in Backend Development, Bug Tracking, Client Side Scripting, and Content Management System (CMS).
- Demonstrated ability in using Atlassian Jira.
- Experience with AB Testing, Agile Scrum, and Ajax.
- Familiarity with API Development and ASP.NET is essential.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, Vue.js, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proven expertise in PHP development.
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.
