The Gender Directory Collective is an open collective dedicated to supporting the open-source development and operations of the Gender Directory, a free, user-contributed, worldwide resource for professionals who support the transgender community.
Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a PHP Developer at the Gender Directory Collective. The PHP Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, and software development tasks to support the operations and growth of the Gender Directory.
Qualifications
- Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) proficiency
- Front-End Development experience
- Strong programming skills
- Passion for contributing to open-source projects
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony is a plus
