Full Stack Developer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly skilled computer programer that is comfortable with both front and back end web development to join our growing team. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for bringing our client?s vision to life. In this non-customer facing role, the Full Stack Developer will work directly with the Product Owner and our team of developers to build amazing functionality, integrations, ensure the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimize web pages for maximum efficiency, and ultimately ensure all elements of web creation are consistent and on brand. This position will play a key role in finding opportunities that will take our clients? business to the next level through conversion focused web development strategies, automation and creative integration efforts. This position reports directly to the Product Owner.

OBJECTIVES

• Utilize the project scope to determine anticipated project flow and document the intended build journey
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Write efficient, well written code to accomplish the needs of the project within the project deadline
• Collaborate with over 30 clients from various industries, development needs, and tech stacks on upcoming desired projects
• Determine structure and design and build web pages in WordPress page builders, PHP (WordPress custom child theme or custom plugin) or straight HTML/CSS/Javascript that align with client requests for maximum speed and scalability
• Develop features to enhance the user experience while maintaining brand consistency
• Collaborate with UX/UI Designers, Back End, Front End and other developers to establish development objectives and build more functionality to enhance the user experience within the project deadline
• Test all functionality built in a local and staging environment to ensure efficiency
• Effectively work alongside the Product Owner to help facilitate project timelines and deliverables
• Develop ideas for new systems, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
• Create and maintain website and codebase documentation and visualization
• Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members
• Leverage Google Workspace Programs, ClickUp Project Management, Harvest Time Tracking and other technology to accomplish development tasks
• Adhere to applicable processes and procedures as well as build, write, and maintain standard operating procedures for the Full Stack Developer position
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

COMPETENCIES

• Demonstrates superior development skills in PHP, Wordpress PHP utilized in custom WordPress Themes/Child Themes, Laravel, jQuery and other Javascript Libraries, HTML, and CSS as well as WordPress page builders
• Possesses an immense desire to troubleshoot, debug, and ensure the codebase is running as efficiently as possible to improve user experience and overall process
• Possesses extensive knowledge of Version Control using Github
• Demonstrates extensive experience with responsive and adaptive design and key design principles
• Possesses a strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Possesses strong ability to develop web pages to a provided design with extreme attention to detail
• Demonstrates excellence in organization, planning, problem solving, and effective management of resources for projects and management of one?s own time
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members while working under pressure and with competing demands
• Demonstrates a desire for continuous improvement and eagerness for learning new skills (often self-taught)
• Ability to efficiently work independently and with minimal supervision
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills with great interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates extensive experience juggling multiple projects, ensuring efficient completion within deadlines and sharp attention to detail
• Ability to maintain pose, professionalism, and positivity at all times
• Not required but a massive PLUS: Server administration experience with Linux, cPanel, AWS infrastructure, and Digital Ocean.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science or related field required
• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer required
• 5+ years of experience with WordPress and PHP experience required
• 2+ years of agency experience required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
