Description
Mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst
- Fully remote contract role
- US Citizen or GC required
- Must have experience with ?mobile/API testing?
- This will be primarily a manual testing role
Responsibilities:
? Designs, documents, and executes manual test cases
? Tests complex API, web, and mobile based applications with DB components
? Estimates tasks and work with minimal guidance and supervision
? Provides technical guidance and training for junior team members
? Assists in all phases and types of software testing ? functional, acceptance, regression, performance, automated, end-to-end, etc.
? Works closely with development team to identify and diagnose issues and resolve problems
? Ensures that all defects are documented, tracked, and updated during the testing cycle using the bug documentation software
? Relays pertinent defect information to QA/Development/Product team members
? Participates in Team Meetings to discuss team goals, tasks, and tools
? Champions best practices for QA testing
? Contributes to automated tests
? Performs related duties as required
Must have:
? Experience with mobile testing
? SDLC knowledge
? Excellent communication skills
? Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
? Attention to detail
? Great time management and organization skills
Nice to have:
? Experience with Jira
? Experience with Azure Devops
? Experience with Agile
? Experience with Automation testing tools (Appium, RestAssured, etc.
? Familiarity with PHP
? Familiarity with Postman
? Additional testing experience: Performance, Load, Stress, Volume, Security testing
