Your Role
At Mein Paul, we're on the lookout for an ambitious Back-End Developer to enhance our dynamic team. In this role, not only will you be vital in propelling our product's development, but you will also be central to designing and implementing efficient backend systems for our CRM tool. Your input will be critical in defining how the product feels and functions.
As a Back-End Developer at Mein Paul, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact our product and the direction it takes. We prize individuality and creativity, and we encourage an environment where everyone is free to share their innovative ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems for our CRM tool
- Build and maintain APIs and web services to support the frontend functionalities
- Ensure the security and integrity of the data by implementing proper authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Architectural and functional documentation
- Maintain and optimize database queries and performance to enhance the overall system efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends in API development
Requirements:
- Strong experience in backend development, including working with PHP and related frameworks (e.g. Laravel)
- Experience with relational databases and proficiency in MySQL; experience with cloud data storage solutions (e.g. BlobStorage)
- Experience in implementing third party services (e.g. search engines, notification hubs, mail services)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Azure
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Understanding of software development principles, including version control and testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Flutter/Dart is a strong plus
- Fluent in English (Conversational German a plus)
- Available to travel to Kempten (Allgäu) at least every 3 months
