Part-Time Front-End Developer - Remote

Great Lakes Publishing, a community-focused media company, is looking for an remote Front-End Developer for our Quest Digital division on a part-time, hourly basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development technologies and design tools, and experience building sites in various CMS platforms such as Umbraco, WordPress, and HubSpot.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company websites using Umbraco, WordPress, and HubSpot.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure website design is optimized for smartphones and tablets.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
Qualifications - Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer / Web Designer.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Programming experience in C#/PHP
- Experience with CMS platforms (Umbraco, WordPress, HubSpot).
- Understanding of SEO principles.
- Ability to build accessible websites.
- Excellent visual design skills.
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
