Full-stack PHP Developer

We?re seeking a Full-Stack Developer to maintain and enhance our LAMP-based e-commerce platform.

The right person for this job has significant experience with PHP, database management, front-end development, and API integration. They are clear communicators, organized thinkers, and exceptional troubleshooters. We?re looking for a dog with a bone? Who maybe also loves to knit! This is a full-time, remote position that reports to our Director of Engineering + eCommerce. The yearly salary is $80,000-90,000 / year, depending on experience. No recruiters please.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and optimize PHP-based backend and MariaDB databases.

· Build responsive front-end interfaces using jQuery and modern JS libraries.

· Design and integrate APIs and microservices.

· Ensure platform performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of full-stack PHP experience.

· PHP Mastery: In-depth knowledge of PHP and related frameworks, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC design patterns.

· SQL & Database: Expertise in SQL, with strong experience in designing and optimizing relational databases, particularly with MariaDB (MySQL).

· Frontend Development: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. Advanced knowledge of jQuery and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries.

· US-based candidates preferred.
