Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their team! Summary: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering full-stack web features and creating APIs that support both web and mobile functionalities. You will work across multiple platforms, ensuring that their technology stack meets the evolving needs of users and stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of both frontend and backend development, with an emphasis on creating robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.

Requirements - Strong experience in API design and development

• Extensive experience in full-stack web development
• Experience with PHP
• Experience with iOS development, particularly using Swift UI
• Expertise in full-stack web development
• Proven expertise in API design
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to implement new ideas and projects
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and iOS/Swift UI (preferred)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
