Job title: Full-stack PHP Developer
Contract Type: 3 months
Based: Remote
They are looking for Senior Full Stack Engineers to join their ever-growing Engineering team.
They want this person to be responsible for developing and maintaining their SaaS platform, whilst collaborating with product and design teams to understand the business requirements that need to be translated into a technical solution.
The ideal candidate will be experienced using PHP8+, Laravel, MySQL, jQuery and modern JavaScript frameworks to write efficient code for across both the backend and frontend their of applications.

Day in the life
- Develop and maintain their modern microservices based SaaS applications using PHP 8+, Laravel, MySQL, jQuery, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both frontend and backend components
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance when needed
What you bring to the team
The ideal candidate will have worked on a data driven products, developing new features and working to maintain and optimise existing ones.
You will be highly skilled with PHP 8+, Laravel, MySQL, JQuery and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong experience in full stack web development with complex data fuelled products, including microservices, AWS (Kubernetes)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent proactive problem solving and analytics skills
- Experience understanding business requirements to then translate into a technical solution
- Previous experience writing unit and integration tests as you work within a PHP Laravel framework
- Ability to work effectively within agile ways of working such as Kanban or Scrum
- Strong communication skills. Precise and succinct explanations of your work
- A passion to stay up to date with the latest technology trends
- A commitment to code quality
- Ability to keep others in the company up to date on projects they are working on including demoing your progress to other departments
