PHP Engineer

Atrium is seeking a remote PHP Engineer in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.

Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop new features and improve upon existing products for the Atrium campus card management solution product suite.

Experience You Will Bring

? 5 years of experience in PHP and familiarity with CodeIgniter or other PHP frameworks

? 5 years of experience in Database Programming using MySQL or other modern database servers

? 3 years of experience in web technologies/standards such as HTML5, CSS3/LESS, Responsive Design, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery/AngularJS, Ajax etc.

? Strong understanding of database driven dynamic web application

? Strong background in Object Oriented Programming

? Advanced knowledge of relational database

? Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) design

? Experience with Web Services based on SOAP or REST

? Coding for cross-browser compatibility and security

? Working understanding of Linux based platforms

? Working knowledge of GIT based code repository

Nice to have

? Working knowledge in JAVA

? Familiarity with Accessibility standards (WCAG)
