Description

We're looking for a superstar Digital Learning or Games Developer to hit the ground running and help us develop interactive and engaging learning experiences in Storyline 360, Unity and other tools.

Job description:

  • We're looking for an experienced eLearning Developer with strong Storyline 360 skills (or Games Developer with a passion for training) to join our team and help us become the most creative, innovative and effective digital learning agency around.
  • You'll be responsible for bringing our digital designs to life by building interactive, intuitive and user-friendly digital learning solutions for our clients.
  • In addition to developing learning content in Storyline 360 and other Articulate tools, you'll also be able to create gamified learning experiences in Unity and code using JavaScript.
  • We're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible within Storyline 360, and you'll enjoy challenging yourself to experiment and test out new ideas.

Your day-to-day:

  • Attending client briefings and meetings (including outside regular UK working hours).
  • Collaborating with our Instructional Designers and Learning Designers to share your expertise on how best to bring creative ideas to life through learning technology.
  • Developing digital learning modules, courses, quizzes and assessments in various eLearning tools (including Storyline 360, Rise, and Captivate).
  • Developing custom code using JavaScript and other tools to create advanced learning experiences and simulations tailored to our client's needs.
  • Designing and developing fully gamified learning experiences using Unity and other game-development tools.
  • Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance on all learning content to ensure we provide our clients and their audience with a premium learning experience.
  • Managing the export and delivery of files for clients to upload to their Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Supporting the development of other digital learning content, including animated videos, how-to guides, performance support, virtual reality experiences, and more.
  • Assisting with designing images, illustrations, infographics, and other assets that enhance learners' understanding of key messages.
  • Ensuring project plans are kept up-to-date and that deadlines are consistently met.
  • Researching the latest trends, ideas and tools in the digital learning, gamification and learning technologies spaces.
  • Supporting client and internal projects and marketing activities with your digital learning expertise.
  • Continuously seeking new ways to delight our clients and engage their audiences.

What you bring to the team:

  • Passion to push the boundaries of what's possible in digital learning by testing new software, approaches and ways of working.
  • A passion for learning and a friendly, enthusiastic and trustworthy approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
  • Expertise in Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate, and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator); proficiency in JavaScript, Unity, and other game-development tools.
  • A strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the various learning files clients require.
  • The ability to think strategically about learning design and deliver projects that meet creative briefs, stay within budget, and deliver on time.
  • Strong project management and communication skills and a deep understanding of the digital learning production process, industry, and the latest trends.
  • Flexibility in working hours when meeting with NZ-based team members and clients outside the UK.

Timelines:

  • Applications for this position will be open until 13th September.
  • First round interviews will take place between the 18th and 20th of September.
  • A technical task to confirm Storyline 360 experience will occur before the second interview round.
  • Second round interviews will take place between the 25th and 27th of September.
  • We aim to make an offer to the successful candidate by the end of September.
