Data engineers at FBS build and maintain processes for managing our data infrastructure and customers? data. Key infrastructure components involved include a mixture of backend databases that power our suite of products including Flexmls and Spark Platform.

You?ll be primarily working with remote teammates in this position, so working remotely or from our headquarters in Fargo, ND is fine.

The primary responsibilities in this position involve writing and enhancing background processes responsible for maintaining and manipulating large amounts of data. Unlike typical PHP projects, very little focus of the position involves frontend development work. Very few projects are ever the same, so flexibility and adaptability are key.
