Position Overview We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Web Developer I to join our innovative team. This entry-level role will report directly to the Lead Web Developer for Application, Web, and Mobile Development. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Communications team and various IT departments to develop and maintain web properties, with a primary focus on Drupal and WordPress platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage modules and plugins within the Drupal platform.
• Create wireframes and core site architectures using Drupal.
• Adjust site parameters as necessary to guarantee optimal performance.
• Work alongside mobile developers to ensure responsive web design across various devices.
• Collaborate with digital accessibility specialists to uphold website and microsite accessibility.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to develop safe and dependable websites.
• Partner with Marketing and Communications on web development projects and improvements.
• Manage projects effectively, provide status updates, and create comprehensive documentation and application guides.

Required Skills - Fundamental understanding of web development and design principles.

• Familiarity with content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress.
• Knowledge of PHP, YML, and Composer.
• General comprehension of distributed computing architectures (e.g., Client/Server, Internet/Intranet).
• Awareness of web standards and accessibility considerations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage diverse tasks and data.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
• Attention to detail with the capability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.

Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree.

• A minimum of one year of experience in Drupal or WordPress development or equivalent coursework.

Compensation And Benefits - Salary Range: \(55,000 - \)65,000, determined based on qualifications, budget, and market conditions.
