This includes defining endpoints, request and response formats, authentication mechanisms, and other aspects of the API's behavior.

Implement the API logic using any frameworks and programming languages This involves writing code to handle incoming requests, process data, and generate responses according to the API specifications.

Configure Azure API Management to expose the API to clients.

Setting up policies for authentication and authorization, defining usage plans and quotas, and configuring other aspects of API behavior such as caching and rate limiting in Azure API Management.

Implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms to control access to the API, encrypting sensitive data, and protecting against common security threats such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting.

Setting up monitoring dashboards, defining alerts for abnormal behavior, and using analytics tools to gain insights into how APIs are being used and how they can be improved.
