Position: Web Developer

Location: Hybrid/Remote

Duration: 6-month contracting period with potential for early conversion to direct employment

Working Schedule: Hybrid (1 day in office, 4 days remote) or Fully Remote based on location

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack web development and be proficient in working across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using technologies such as Linux, Apache, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Contribute to code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.

Troubleshoot and debug web applications to ensure optimal performance.

Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3+ years of professional experience in web application development.

Strong expertise in Linux, Apache, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Experience in the full software development lifecycle.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Passion for learning and staying current with new technologies.

Preferred:

Experience with mission-critical e-commerce applications.

Familiarity with IT infrastructure and administration.

Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as jQuery, DataTables, or GSAP.

Experience with the CodeIgniter PHP framework.

Proficiency with version control systems like Git or GitHub.

Experience with Docker or other containerization platforms.

Familiarity with Java and/or Python.
