**Developer/Engineer
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Developer/Engineer for a contract position that can be worked 100% remotely. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** - Develop code to encode the aforementioned business logic as part of the ETL process
- Perform unit testing on developed code
- Deploy code to testing environments
- Assist with end-to-end testing
- Works with architects, developers, and analysts, as well as non-technical end-users, to design and engineer solutions associated with operational data. Works with team members to understand business requirements that drive solution analyses and designs.
- Assists with the build of those solutions.
- Designs frameworks to load and transform raw source data into enhanced data assets. Codes data ingestion, transformation, and delivery programs and logic.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a developer
- 3-5 years of experience in Databricks technology and experience in working with Databricks notebooks, clusters, and jobs. They should be able to optimize and troubleshoot Databricks workflows.
- Expertise with Google Cloud Platform
- Problem-solving, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
- Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance Industry
- Experience with Databricks, GCP, application development tools, business processes, software development life cycle used by client's enterprise
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with the enterprise data platform preferred
- Must complete the Engineer - Databricks Assessment
Preferred: - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform architecture and services.
- Familiarity with Databricks.
