In this fully remote, long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in developing and advancing applications that enhance our innovative products and workflows. We are in search of a talented professional with a strong foundation in software development and significant experience with AWS, Node.js, TypeScript, and PHP.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications and systems utilizing AWS, Node.js, TypeScript, and PHP.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement novel features.
Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code for mission-critical applications.
Troubleshoot and debug applications integral to our revenue collection processes.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the architectural design of software applications.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior software engineers, sharing valuable insights to support their professional development.
Continuously investigate, assess, and adopt new technologies to optimize development efficiency.

Required Skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of software development experience, with a focus on backend systems and web applications.
Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Docker, and AWS solutions.
Familiarity with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
Experience with web application frameworks including Laravel, Phoenix, Next.js, Remix, or SolidJS.
Knowledge of modern Git workflows.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns and testing methodologies.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive, independent work style.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
