Compensation: $45 - $56/ hour

Position: PHP Developer

Inceed has partnered with a local state agency to help find a skilled PHP Developer to join their team! This is an exciting role for a developer with experience in PHP, C#/Java, and JavaScript/jQuery. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex development projects, handle various customer requests, and collaborate in a dynamic, matrixed environment. This role will be responsible for designing and developing applications that align with key strategies like Cloud First and Mobile First, as well as working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities: - Handle multiple customer requests of varying complexity and manage assignments within a matrixed supervisory environment.

• Adhere to Incident and Change Management protocols for resolving incidents and managing production system changes.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to design applications and create estimates/timelines.
• Develop applications based on business requirements using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Perform coding for in-house applications or configuration management for COTS applications, ensuring standards are followed and unit testing is conducted.
• Organize and validate all code segments related to specific builds for final User Acceptance Testing.
• Coordinate update releases, contribute to break/fix solutions, and maintain documentation related to system changes.

Required Qualifications & Experience: - 3 years of experience in PHP development.

• 3-5 years of experience in either C# or Java.
• 3-5 years of experience in JavaScript/jQuery.
• 1+ year of experience in Shell Scripting (BASH or other Linux experience).
• 1+ year of experience with GIT for version control.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience: - Ability to manage tasks in a matrixed management environment.

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with creating and following development policies and best practices to deliver high-quality results.
