Your mission Join lingoking as a Senior Backend Developer (all genders) to join our development team in the Translation and Localization industry.

As Senior Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you?ll help deliver effective, high-quality solutions that support our platform?s core functionality

Your Responsibilities - Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP with Symfony and API Platform.

• Design and implement robust and scalable APIs that support our frontend in Vue.js.
• Ensure data integrity and efficient data handling with PostgreSQL.
• Utilize Docker for containerized deployments and continuous integration/delivery.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and DevOps to integrate backend services seamlessly.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues across our stack.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and driving continuous improvement.

What you bring along As this position requires regular presence in Germany, a current residence in Germany is necessary. In addtion, candidates must hold a valid work authorization for Germany, either through EU citizenship or an EU Blue Card.

• 4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficient in PHP, with deep knowledge of Symfony and API Platform.
• Strong understanding of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker for containerization, deployment, and scaling.
• Familiarity with frontend integration, particularly Vue.js.
• Good understanding RESTful API design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Fluency in English, German is a plus.
