Senior Software Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, investigate, implement and maintain high quality, scalable, production grade solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements
• Take active part in defining and improving the software development lifecycle
• Iteratively improve existing codebase across multiple projects and technologies
• Help improve coding through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure optimal performance
• Mentor and guide team mates
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in an on call support rotation

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor?s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• 5+ years experience with Go and engineering software platforms
• 3+ years experience with PHP, preferably with Laravel
• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend
• Experience working with critical applications (performance, scalability, security)
• Knowledge of version control systems
• Proven skill in design and documentation methods
• Hands-on experience in industry standard CI/CD tools
• Understanding of relational databases as well as ORM and SQL technologies
• Problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud technologies and operations
• Experience in monitoring/alerting tools
• Experience with k8s
• Stakeholder management. Experience in dealing with difficult situations and
• making decisions with a sense of urgency.
