Your Responsibilities
- Plan, investigate, implement and maintain high quality, scalable, production grade solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements
- Take active part in defining and improving the software development lifecycle
- Iteratively improve existing codebase across multiple projects and technologies
- Help improve coding through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure optimal performance
- Mentor and guide team mates
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in an on call support rotation
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- 5+ years experience with Go and engineering software platforms
- 3+ years experience with PHP, preferably with Laravel
- Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend
- Experience working with critical applications (performance, scalability, security)
- Knowledge of version control systems
- Proven skill in design and documentation methods
- Hands-on experience in industry standard CI/CD tools
- Understanding of relational databases as well as ORM and SQL technologies
- Problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Nice to have
- Experience in cloud technologies and operations
- Experience in monitoring/alerting tools
- Experience with k8s
- Stakeholder management. Experience in dealing with difficult situations and
- making decisions with a sense of urgency.
