By providing a platform for equal access to opportunities, Placera connects students across India, from urban to rural areas, to internships, entry-level jobs, and skill-building resources that employers desire. Role: Website Developer & Software Engineer We?re looking for a Website Developer who?s excited about building something impactful and ready to take on the challenge of developing Placera from a website to a mobile app. This role is perfect for someone with a long-term vision, who wants to grow with us, and bring innovative solutions to life.

Responsibilities:

• Full Website Development: Lead the end-to-end creation of Placera?s website, building a seamless, intuitive user experience for students, employers, and universities.
• App Development Preparation: As we scale, prepare for mobile app development and integrate features that enhance Placera?s accessibility and functionality.
• Continuous Improvement: Refine and improve the platform?s performance, usability, and scalability.
• Collaboration with Core Team: Work closely with our team, providing technical insights to shape our growth and enhance Placera?s platform.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proficiency in front-end and back-end development, including frameworks like React, Angular, or similar, and familiarity with database management.
• Experience with mobile-responsive design and app development (preferred but not required initially).
• Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and building impactful solutions from the ground up.
• Interest in being part of Placera long-term, with a shared vision of expanding opportunity access for students across India.
