Job Title: PHP Developer
Location: London, UK (Remote with few on-site)
Contract Type: Contract inside IR35
Duration: 6 months, with potential extension
Role Overview:
We?re seeking an experienced PHP Developer for a 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. You?ll work with our team to develop and maintain high-performance web applications, collaborating closely with front-end developers, project managers, and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PHP-based applications and backend systems.
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Create and manage RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate on code reviews and technical planning in an Agile environment.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure application security.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in PHP development.
- Frameworks: Proficient in Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
- Web Tech: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vue.js/React is a plus).
- Database: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), NoSQL a plus.
- Version Control: Git.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Docker experience.
- Familiarity with Agile methods.
