At Digital Strata, we design, build, and maintain information management systems used by the federal government, corporations, and law firms. We are a small team that values collaboration and strives to write clean, testable code. Our work environment is casual (95% remote!) but always professional.

Responsibilities

Design ? Work directly with clients to understand their needs and propose effective solutions.

Develop ? Translate client requirements into robust, maintainable code.

Deploy ? Prepare projects for launch by managing development and testing environments.

Document ? Ensure code is readable and understandable for the team without over-documenting.

Requirements

Strong fluency with Laravel

Proficiency in PHP 8

Experience with Git Version Control

Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)

Proficiency with SQL (MySQL preferred)

Knowledge of Laravel architecture best practices

Experience writing and maintaining tests

Competency with Linux

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with AWS (or a similar cloud computing platform)

Familiarity with basic UX design principles
