Senior PHP Developer

We are currently working with one of the UK?s largest provider of back office, compliance, and workforce solutions in primary care!

Responsibilities:

• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript knowledge
• Strong PHP knowledge
• Developing and maintaining fullstack applications and services.
• Understand, utilise, design, and develop cloud deployable services.
• Understand the use and implementation of modern software design patterns and practices and their applicability to our applications and services.
• Understand the components of the application infrastructure and how best to leverage them in our applications and services.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and services.
• Be a proponent for best practice, efficiency, and culture within the engineering team.
• Be a code reviewer and approver.
• Build, maintain, and leverage CI / CD processes pipelines.
• Diagnose and fix issues within our applications and services.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to prove and ensure quality.
• Identify and keep abreast of new technical concepts in software development.
• Collaborate with team members during the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior members of the team up to your level.
