PHP/SQL Contractor

PHP and SQL Developer- DaySmart Recreation DaySmart is a provider of business management software that specializes in providing scheduling and workflow solutions to businesses around the world. We provide award-winning business software to thousands of users in a variety of industries. The DaySmart Recreation team delivers all-in-one recreation facility management software and is seeking a contractor to assist in modernizing our product.

About The Role We're seeking a skilled PHP and SQL developer to join our team for a project-based contract. This role involves migrating financial and performance reporting from a third party vendor to our internal software, with the project estimated to require approximately 200 hours of work. Experience with JasperSoft Reporting Software is a significant plus.

Responsibilities - Analyze existing reports and data sources

• Develop SQL Stored Procedures to extract and transform data from various sources
• Design and implement new reports using SQL queries and PHP
• Integrate reports into our internal software
• Test and debug reports to ensure accuracy and performance
• Collaborate with the team to understand reporting requirements and provide technical solutions

Required Skills And Experience - Strong proficiency in PHP and SQL

• Experience with database design and optimization
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with reporting tools (JasperSoft preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
