Web Developer

POSITION PURPOSE: We are seeking a talented developer to join our team and serve as a technical specialist, with a focus on building custom web applications. Your role will involve developing user interfaces and front-end web applications, with a deep understanding of programming and business logic.

You will collaborate with business partners and will be responsible for creating no-code / low-code applications, process automation, and solutions utilizing the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint Online. In this role, you perform discovery, engage subject matter experts and stakeholders, capture requirements, and map requirements to features.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency with standard web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Knowledge of a single-page application JavaScript library such as React.js is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Development: Design, build, test, and maintain custom applications using the Power Platform

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement enhancements.

Optimization: Refactor and optimize existing applications to improve performance and scalability.

Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and production errors.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing applications.

Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web application development and related technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or certification in healthcare or information technology and a minimum of seven (7) years of mainframe, Microsoft, web, social media, or interface technology experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced to expert technical proficiency in mainframe, Microsoft, web, social media, or interface programming languages, applications, tools, and utilities.

Advanced to expert knowledge and experience with IBM mainframe, client, and interface or integration environment.

Proven ability to design system-wide, integrated solutions with other specialists and architects.

Extensive knowledge and experience utilizing healthcare software applications and/or related revenue applications, interfaces, and clinical applications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong knowledge of the application and the business line being supported.

Ability to provide routine mentoring and technical guidance to support staff.

Ability to provide staff support for business and technical projects, assignments, and analysis.

Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Pay Grade 15 range $96,319.82 - $144,479.7275

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position operates in a typical office environment. The area is well-lit, temperature-controlled, and free from hazards. Incumbent communicates frequently, in person and over the telephone, with people in different locations on technical issues. Manual dexterity is needed to operate a keyboard. Hearing is needed for extensive telephone and in-person communications. The environment in which the incumbent will work requires the ability to concentrate, meet deadlines, work on several projects at the same period and adapt to interruptions.

The incumbent must be capable of traveling in the course of completing project assignments.
