Description: Title: Director, Learning & Development
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Department/Location: Remote

Summary: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Learning & Development will be responsible for driving the creation and execution of onboarding, training, professional development, and continuing education programs here at Guidelight Health. Translating our core mission, vision, and values into a robust curriculum, this person will drive standardization and equity across all departments while ensuring preparedness and continued development of all teammates. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and refine programs that enhance employee capabilities, improve organizational performance, and support the long-term growth of our teams. By collaborating across departments, this leader will ensure that all educational initiatives align with our organizational values and operational goals.
Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee onboarding, traning, and continued education programs to ensure new and existing hires are effectively integrated into Guidelight Health?s culture, policies, and workflows.

Design and implement comprehensive training and education curricula for clinical and corporate employees.

Experience developing a repeatable onboarding and training process in a high-growth environment for field clinical and non-clinical W2 and 1099 employees.

Partner with clinical leadership to create tailored professional development pathways for clinicians that align with regulatory standards and best practices.

Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously refine them to meet organizational needs.

Lead the development of performance management programs, focusing on skill development, career progression, and leadership capabilities.

Collaborate with department leaders to identify skill gaps and address them with targeted learning initiatives to ensure performance optimization across the organization.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of learning technologies and introduce innovative tools that enhance engagement and knowledge retention.

Ensure all training materials comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Apply proven instructional design and adult learning theories to develop engaging and relevant content that enhances learning transfer and retention.
Qualifications: - Bachelor?s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in education and training, including at least 2 years in a leadership role developing and managing programs.
- Subject-matter expertise in project/program management, as well as eLearning design, development, implementation and facilitation.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant training technologies.
- Knowledge of behavioral health or healthcare operations is strongly preferred.
- Highly collaborative across Operations, Clinical, Growth, Quality teams and other key stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
