Backend Developer Senior

What You?ll Do

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will:

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable and robust backend solutions.

• Design and implement Monitoring and Observability strategies that ensure the continuous health of all deployed solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop APIs and services that integrate seamlessly with our platform.

• Containerize and streamline development and deployment processes.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.

• Contribute to the technical strategy and guide the team on best practices and architectural decisions.

• What We?re Looking For5+ years of experience in backend development, with expertise in building complex systems.

• Proficiency in implementing Hexagonal Architecture, DDD, and SOLID principles.

• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development.

• Experience with PHP and the Laravel and Symfony frameworks (or similar).

• Experience with both relational and non-relational database systems, such as MySQL and MongoDB.

• Experience with Docker and modern development workflows.

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation.

• Familiarity with Monitoring and Observability strategies and tools, such as logging, tracing, metrics and automated alerts.

• Strong problem decomposition and solving skills

• A passion for clean, robust code and technical excellence.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.

While not required, experience with the following will be highly valued:

• Event-driven architectures and Event Sourcing.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, mainly Terraform.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm.

• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
