PHP Software Development Engineer - Remote work We are currently recruiting for a PHP Software Developer to join our IT team.
The Developer is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of a PHP/MySQL development stack.
As a Software Developer you will be involved in all areas of development from design to development to testing.
Reporting to the PHP Software Development Manager the duties and responsibilities include: (PHP Software Development) - Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications
- Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
- Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
- Working with teammates in the migration of older applications to current technologies
- Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications
- Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
- Developing Software in the required LAMP stack
- Package and support deployment of releases
- Analysing and resolving technical and application problems
- Providing second-level support to business users
- Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates
