will be responsible for dynamic web development and for designing,

developing new websites, and maintaining/updating existing ones. Get a

Job responsibilities

  • Write clean, testable, efficient, and reusable code using software development best practices
  • Develop website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Integrate data from multiple back-end services and databases
  • Collect, analyze and finalize design specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain software documentation for future reference
  • Participate in maintaining, expanding, and scaling in-house and client websites
  • Keep abreast with emerging technologies and industry trends and share new findings with development team
  • Coordinate with web designers to match visual design intent

Job requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in website development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Hands-on experience in planning and developing websites across multiple products and organizations
  • Knowledge of web development languages like Javascript, .NET, PHP, or Ruby on Rails
  • Full understanding of content management systems, including WordPress and Drupal
  • Hands-on expertise in relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
  • Proficient working with databases including MySQL, SQL, NoSQL, etc.
  • Expertise working within Windows and Linux environments
  • Strong knowledge of website security, session management, and development best practices
  • Knowledge of network diagnostics, network analytics tools
  • Fluency in English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
