Job Overview We invite passionate and purpose-driven web developers to join our dynamic team. Our firm, fully remote and based in the U.S., focuses on delivering top-tier software and digital solutions. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with fellow developers to design and implement new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot web applications to maintain optimal performance.
- Provide precise time estimates for project timelines and tasks.
- Address critical issues promptly and effectively.
- Stay informed on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
- Support maintenance and enhancement of existing software solutions.
- Maintain regular communication with team members, project managers, and clients.
- Participate in client meetings during initial project phases to gather requirements.
- Ensure proper version control and documentation via GitHub and Jira.
- Escalate issues to the Development Lead or Project Manager when necessary.
Required Skills - 4+ years of experience in web development.
- 2+ years of experience with WordPress and/or WooCommerce, including plugin and theme development.
- Strong backend development skills, particularly in WooCommerce.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML/CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, Webpack, and Git.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting is essential.
- Comfort with version control tools such as Git.
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote, cloud-based environment, with knowledge of GitHub, GitHub Codespaces, and Docker.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
- U.S.-based applicants only (currently not accepting candidates from New York).
Qualifications - Proven track record with 4+ years in web development and 2+ years focused on WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Adeptness in backend development principles.
- Knowledge of Laravel is a plus but not mandatory.
