Key Responsibilities

As a PHP Developer, you?ll:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in operational management systems, ensuring smooth functionality across all operations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and shipping teams to identify challenges, develop solutions, and minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support business continuity and scalability.
• Design, develop, and deliver front-end and back-end software projects with clean, maintainable code.
• Improve and maintain back-end fulfillment systems critical to operational efficiency.
• Build automated unit and integration tests to support system reliability and performance.
• Develop and integrate APIs with third-party systems to streamline shipping, returns, and operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency, ensuring business processes remain uninterrupted.
• Actively participate in code reviews, contribute constructive feedback, and maintain an openness to suggestions for improvement.

What You Bring to the Role

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3+ years of experience with PHP development, including frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Expertise in building and integrating REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with database development and maintenance.
• Strong familiarity with unit testing frameworks like PHPUnit.
• Knowledge of event streaming/queue services such as RabbitMQ and caching services like Redis or Memcache.
• Proficiency in front-end development, including JavaScript, JQuery, LESS/SASS, and bundlers like Gulp/Webpack.
• Adherence to clean code principles, including DRY, PSR-12, and SOLID.
• Experience hosting and deploying applications in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in Agile methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Experience migrating PHP applications from 7.x to 8.x.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or VueJS.
• Experience with ADA-compliant application development.
