Position: Part-Time Software Developer
Location: Remote, must be able to work 11am-3pm CST
Terms: Contract, 20 hrs/week, 3-6 month project
Hours: 11am-3 pm CST
Compensation: 40-45/hr W2 target, negotiable depending on experience
This role is a part-time Web Developer that will support an existing team, working on two products- a web portal and external website. The team has an ongoing need for a developer to support them 11 am-3 pm(while offshore team is unavailable) and work closely with the Sr. Dev to help them clear out a backlog of work.
Working on their web portal, you?ll partner with a Sr. Developer on the team and help tackle tasks working with React Native, Node.js, TypeScript, Nextjs, Postgres, Bootstrap and Apolo GraphQL, deploying via Docker on AWS. In addition to supporting the web portal work, you?d also help tackle ad-hoc development and maintenance requests for an external website built with WordPress, PHP, MySQL & pulling data from Salesforce.
To work on the portal, you?ll need experience with:
- JavaScript/Typescript
- Node.js
- React Native
- Nextjs
- Apollo GraphQL(or similar tool)
- Postgres
- Bootstrap
Nice to have:
- Resque
- Redis
- Hapi
- Docker
- AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, S3, Route53)
To work on the external website, you?ll need experience with:
- PHP Scripting
- mySQL
- Wordpress (elementor plug in knowledge a plus)
Nice to have:
- AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)
- Salesforce
- GitHub version controller
