Job Summary As a Senior Web Developer I, you are responsible for building web applications and supporting and maintaining a company?s websites and digital products. In your role you will implement design requirements and specifications into functional, user-friendly, and appealing high-quality web applications.

With your experience and skill set, as a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible (along with other senior web developers) for designing infrastructure, developing processes and systems, and setting the standards our team uses to develop full-stack web applications.

In addition to your technical skills, as a senior web developer, you have the soft skills and the patience needed to

mentor and be a resource to other developers on the team. You enjoy mentoring and teaching others to help lift the skills and experience of the team as a whole.

Duties/Job Responsibilities - Work with the development team to create high-quality web applications.

• Architect and build robust web applications to support business needs.
• Actively participate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Support and maintain existing websites, services, and tools by completing feature requests and resolving bugs and issues.
• Follow QA processes to ensure quality.
• Enforce clean code and excellent coding practices by conducting thoughtful code reviews.
• Introduce and implement innovative techniques and technologies.
• Self-manage completion of projects and work with project managers to meet deadlines.
• Manage multiple tasks and timelines.
• Develop designs into web applications with exactness.
• Work with leadership to enhance the company?s websites and boost traffic to increase sales performance.

Education And Experience - Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Web Development and Design, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web software development.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, object-oriented PHP, Laravel PHP framework, and Perl.
• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as Next, Vue, and React.
• Solid understanding of common web database types (relational databases, NoSQL, Document, etc.).
• Experience using and developing CI/CD pipelines for code releases.
• Experience with version control utilizing GIT.
• Proficient in API integrations, including working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with managing web server software such as Apache or Nginx.
• Experience with using modern AI tools to improve and automate development workflows and processes.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design concepts, responsive design, and mobile-first design principles.
• AWS experience/certifications are a major plus.
• Proven experience teaching and mentoring in a development environment, especially in guiding junior developers.
