Senior PHP Developer

Mothership® Corporation is currently seeking a Senior PHP Developer to support our New Platform projects.

This developer will participate in building and modernizing web-based applications to support our projects, work with technical leads to develop and enforce standards, collaborate with a development team, and follow solutions as they are developed through production deployment.

Our team performs custom software development to modernize siloed, legacy applications using modular design standards. The team works closely with internal clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of our internal and public-facing, mission-critical applications.

This individual will equally restructure and advance an existing collaborative software package. We will need someone capable of service level architecture and re-architecture, modifying and adding advanced features, with an ability to gather and understand user requirements and UX stories.

They will also be a part of a major platform overhaul. The ideal candidate will be able to handle solution architecture, code structure, build, test, host, deploy and maintenance of the platform. We are looking for technical skill and big picture thinking.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ideally at least 5 + Years of experience in Full LAMP Stack
• Strong background in PHP Backend Frameworks.
• Additional skill in Front End (HTML/XML) and JavaScript.
• Utilization experience of source code management tools.
• Ideally have some combination or all of the following skills, Java, Python, React.js and React Native
• Flexibility to work as a collaborator, lead, or solo developer as needed in the project.
• Strong ability to interact and communicate across a variety of stakeholder groups,
• Experience with third party API integrations.
• Commitment to creating, documenting, and executing test cases and reporting results.
• While this position is supported remotely, we are ideally seeking someone in South Florida but can be located anywhere within Florida or Israel.
