Senior PHP Developer

PHP Developer | Kaynes - Remote (USA)

Position Overview:

Kaynes is on the hunt for a skilled PHP Developer to join our innovative and dynamic team. This full-time position is open to all U.S. applicants, regardless of their location, as it is fully remote. We are flexible in our employment terms, offering both contract and regular employment options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Technical Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with MySQL and other database management systems
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Basic understanding of Composer Dependency Manager
• Knowledge of version control tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Excellent problem-solving skills and love for technical challenges

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming
• Previous remote work experience demonstrating self-motivation and discipline
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance

Working Hours:

• Standard working hours with the flexibility to choose between 9-5 PM or 10-6 PM schedules.
