PHP Developer

Job Description

Palmer Group has partnered with a downtown client looking for a talented PHP Developer to join its Interactive Department. In this role, you'll work closely with our skilled web developers and designers to create innovative, high-quality digital solutions for a diverse range of clients.

Work model:

Open to On-Site, Hybrid, and Remote

What you will do:

Develop, maintain, and enhance back-end components for web applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and performance

Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges, ensuring seamless functionality across all projects

Manage and optimize databases, ensuring efficient query performance and data integrity

What you will need to be successful:

3+ years of experience

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with PHP, including best practices and modern frameworks

Proven track record in back-end web development, with a portfolio of completed projects

Experience in developing complex queries; MySQL experience is highly desirable

Familiarity with Apache web server and Linux operating systems is a strong plus

Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively

Enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment, both with internal colleagues and external clients

Ability to develop and manage content in Craft CMS, utilizing Twig for template development
