Description
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis [FULL REMOTE]. If you have experience working with both popular page builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.) and custom WordPress development (theme and plugin creation), we?d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor, Divi, and other popular page builders.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Extend and modify WordPress functionality by working with APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Optimize WordPress sites for speed, performance, and security.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to WordPress themes, plugins, and core updates.
- Maintain clear documentation for all development work.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: 2-5 years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Front-end Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress theme customization.
- Back-end Skills: Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL for developing custom WordPress functionalities.
- Plugin Development: Experience creating custom WordPress plugins from scratch.
- Familiarity with Popular Plugins: Knowledge of widely used plugins like WooCommerce, ACF, Gravity Forms, WPForms, SEO tools and optimization tools such as JetPack.
- Strong Documentation & Communication: Ability to document work clearly and collaborate with a team.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing WordPress sites.
- Knowledge of server management, hosting configurations, and performance optimization.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with API integrations (Google API, Payment Gateways, etc.).
