Web Development Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Web Development Consultant to support a research project for the National Security Team. The project focuses on the development and analysis of public-facing websites designed for community-based interactions. This is a trial initiative involving a small batch of 2-3 websites, with the potential to evolve into a long-term managed service if successful.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and demonstrable experience in building and optimizing websites for community engagement. They should also possess the ability to provide strategic insights and deliver a comprehensive report based on their research findings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize public-facing websites, focusing on community-building features and user engagement.
• Analyze website architecture, functionality, and user experience to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and engage in discussions to understand user needs and expectations.
• Provide recommendations on toolsets and technologies to enhance website performance and user experience.
• Deliver a comprehensive report outlining findings, insights, and recommendations for future development and optimization.
• Assist in proving the feasibility of the research model, supporting potential transition into a managed service.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing and managing community-focused websites with demonstrable results.
• Strong knowledge of modern web development frameworks, tools, and technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to produce detailed, actionable reports.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• BPSS Clearance is required or eligibility to obtain it.
