We are Caledonia Creative, a growing digital agency that specialises in web development, branding and social media marketing. We?re currently looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team on a project basis, with potential for ongoing work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive websites for clients
- Customize themes (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace) and build custom websites from scratch
- Troubleshoot and fix any website issues
- Optimize websites for speed, mobile compatibility, and SEO
- Collaborate with designers to bring creative ideas to life
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Wix
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for web development
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify)
- Knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
