Software Engineer

Software Developer required to join a leading technology business who are seeking an experienced professional to join their team on an initial three-month outside IR35 contract, with strong potential for longer term extensions. This fully remote role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects using a modern and scalable tech stack.

The ideal candidate will have strong front end development experience with React and also have PHP development experience, particularly with modern frameworks such as Symfony 4, in addition to strong and a deep understanding of designing and developing robust and high quality software, and integrating RESTful APIs.

A solid understanding of Docker is required, as the role involves working in containerised environments and experience with Terraform is also key, as the successful candidate will be responsible for encouraging and improving software development processes to work with infrastructure as code. Given the company?s cloud-based platform, expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway, is highly desirable, along with a strong grasp of security best practices.
