Job Overview/Summary We are seeking a skilled FAST Developer to join a new team focused on deploying innovative insurance products on the FAST Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in FAST Business Configuration, particularly in Life Insurance functionality, and strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and database analysis. This role involves working closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to analyze business requirements, design, implement, and test FAST platform changes.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on FAST business configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into FAST platform functionality.
- Design, implement, and unit test changes in the FAST system.
- Work with SQL queries to analyze the FAST database and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine workflows and logic changes.
- Support the deployment of new insurance products on the FAST platform.
Primary Skills - 1-3 years of experience in FAST Business Configuration, especially in Life Insurance functionality.
- Strong SQL querying skills for database analysis and issue troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and design appropriate FAST platform functionality.
- Experience in implementing and unit testing FAST system changes.
Secondary Skills (Good To Have) - Experience with orchestrations, decision tables, XML, XSLT, and XLSX.
- Familiarity with Node.js for scripting and automation.
Qualifications - Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in FAST business configuration and life insurance applications.
