Exciting opportunity available for a PHP Developer for a 100% remote contract to hire position!! In this role you will join the web development and support team. You will support the missions including application development, rapid prototyping, standards development, and research and development of new technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and develop web applications.
- Research cutting edge technologies and provide proof of concept applications demonstrating usage in the LAMP environment.
- Identify, research, and create standards and standards documentation.
- Provide demos and training to staff to facilitate forward progress in the adoption of new technologies and new standards.
- Complete onboarding tasks such as documentation review and environment configuration.
Requirements:
- Experience and Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in PHP
- 5+ years of experience in Laravel
- 5+ years of experience with custom software development experience
- Thorough knowledge of the HTTP lifecycle and REST services
- Thorough knowledge of enterprise application software development life cycle
- Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Vue or Angular UI development experience is a strong plus
- A strong curiosity about our clients? business needs, coupled with a passion to stay on the cutting edge
- Consulting skills including team building, flexibility, and client-facing skills
- Ability to demonstrate skills in analysis, design, implementation, and development process.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
