Lead Full Stack Software Engineer at Infinite Choice

What We Want:
We're scaling our Engineering team with the addition of a full-stack Lead Engineer to spearhead the migration and development of consumer-facing, high-traffic products from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition from the existing LAMP stack to a modern tech stack on Google Cloud, utilizing Node.js, Vue.js, Google Cloud SQL, and other Google Cloud technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product management, QA, and operations teams to prioritize and define engineering tasks.
- Design, develop, prototype, and test new products and technologies.
- Manage the full product development lifecycle from conception through to launch.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems, enhancing product performance and reliability.
- Contribute to shaping the technical roadmap and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends to refine our engineering processes and methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure solutions meet our high standards.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years hands-on professional experience in developing scalable, cloud-based software applications with rich user interfaces across various browsers and devices.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in full-stack development with Vue.js, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and microservices architecture.
- Solid experience with PHP applications, particularly in migration contexts.
- Proficient with Git and familiar with GitHub workflows.
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of both MySQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proven track record in implementing automated testing within a CI/CD pipeline.
