Senior Laravel Developer

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Senior Laravel Developer to build an innovative Brand Benchmarking Tool that leverages AI and web scraping technologies. This is a greenfield project where you'll have the opportunity to architect and implement a solution from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement a Laravel-based platform

- Integrate OpenAI's API for intelligent competitor analysis

- Develop robust web scraping functionality for brand data collection

- Create and maintain database architecture using MySQL/SQLite

- Implement Google Workspace API integrations (Google Slides)

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and enhance product features

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of PHP development experience

- 3+ years of Laravel framework experience (Laravel 9+)

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols

- Experience with:

- OpenAI API or similar AI service integrations

- Web scraping technologies (e.g., Symfony DomCrawler)

- Database design and optimization

- Git version control

- API development and integration

- Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns

- Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit)

Nice to Have

- Experience with Google Workspace APIs

- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts

- Experience with queue systems and background job processing

- Familiarity with social media APIs
