As a Web Development Intern, you?ll have the opportunity to revamp and enhance one or both of MealTec and Lumina View websites, gaining experience in WordPress development, UI/UX design, and user engagement tracking while working on cutting-edge AI-driven brands.

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote, unpaid role for a Web Development Intern. You will gain hands-on experience in modern web development, contributing to websites that showcase AI-powered technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio, gain real-world experience, and enhance your web development skills while working in a fast-moving AI startup.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Revamp and optimize WordPress-based websites for MealTec and/or Lumina View.
• Implement UI/UX enhancements for improved user experience and engagement.
• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Optimize website performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Create forms and backend logic for gathering and storing user engagement/input data.
• Collaborate directly with the graphic design team to implement branding guidelines and integrate their designs into the websites.

Who You Are

• A student, recent graduate, or aspiring web developer looking to gain experience in real-world web development.
• Proficient in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (or eager to learn).
• Familiar with Elementor WordPress page builder and custom theme development.
• Knowledge of backend development for handling user input and engagement tracking.
• Experience with forms, databases, and storing user data securely is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented team player with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excited to work in a tech-driven, startup environment where AI meets real-world impact.

Internship Details

• Hours: 10-30 hours per week (part-time).
• Start Date: 0-2 weeks from the job ad posting date.
• Duration: 90 days, starting from the agreed-upon start date.
• Compensation: This internship is unpaid and designed for educational or experience-building purposes only.
• Location: Remote (U.S.-based Time Zones preferred, but open to international candidates with proven track records).
